Amy Hamley Ceramics,
Photographer: Janelle Bendycki
Talented Artist and Ceramicist, Amy Hamley, asked me to get involved to help her with a rebrand to shift her business name from a previous name and focus on her stunning porcelain dinner collection along with some other wares of planters, nesting bowls and spice/trinket jars. I first helped her with brand positioning with a plan of how she would show up and to who, then I created a logo for her name to apply to some promotional materials, website, ceramic stamp, and booth set ups for the first show with her new identity at San Francisco's West Coast Craft.
We brought in the photographer that would match her aesthetic and ethos of supporting handmade practices, Janelle Bendycki, and brought in local florist, Gorgeous & Green, to create arrangements to photograph. I supported Amy prior to the shoot thru planning logistics, props, painted surfaces, maintaining a look + feel communicated to the photographer, and prioritizing a shot list. In addition, I was leading the day-of plan and overseeing and collaborating on styling + photography execution of the shoot in Berekely.
Amy was so pleased with the shoot and she saw gains in her business that allowed her line to be produced wholesale and evolve of her practice today as a multidisciplinary artist (ceramics + fiber) showing in galleries public + private for more sculptural gorgeous work.
